Fresh tortillas and real Mexican flavor taste even better outside, so every Taco Stand location is built around patio seating — picnic tables, fans, and a spot for your leashed dog right next to you. Order at the counter or drive-thru, grab a table on the patio, and settle in. We just ask that dogs stay leashed and close to your table so there’s room for everyone else to move around, especially when it’s busy on a Friday or Saturday night.
Water Bowls, Same Easy Policies
We keep water bowls filled on the patio so your dog can cool off while you cool down with tacos and a frozen margarita. Our policies are the same as our sister restaurant, The Burger Joint: leashed dogs are welcome on the patio any time we’re open, and Texas health code keeps pets out of the kitchen and indoor prep areas, so patio seating is the spot. It’s simple, it’s consistent across every location, and it means your dog is just as welcome here as anywhere else in the family.

Do dogs need to stay on a leash?
Yes. Dogs must stay leashed and with their owner at the table. Please keep leashes short enough that other guests and staff can move between tables safely.
Can my dog come inside?
Dogs are welcome on our patios. Texas health regulations keep pets out of indoor prep and dining areas, so patio seating is where to bring your dog.
Do you provide water bowls?
